The Griot Author Series: A Celebration of Louisville Defender Photography

The Kentucky Center for African American Heritage and the Louisville Story Program invite you to celebrate the re-printing of "Available Light: Louisville Through the Lens of Bud Dorsey" and preview of exciting selections from a collection of 20,000 historic photographs from the Louisville Defender newspaper. The Louisville Story Program is now digitizing the collection in partnership with the University of Louisville Archives in order to make them more accessible to the public. Join us to learn more about that project and how to get involved. In addition, "Available Light" will be available for purchase. Free and open to the public!
